Formed in 2003, the Land Claims Agreements Coalition. Has membership representing Inuit, First Nation and Métis modern treaty organizations and governments in Canada. Our objective is to ensure that modern treaties are fully implemented in spirit and intent, and to work closely and collaboratively with the Government of Canada and our other partners to bring this about.

The Yukon Land Use Planning Council helps Government, Yukon First Nations and Regional Planning Commissions coordinate their efforts to conduct regional land use planning.

We assist Yukon First Nations. With tasks, projects and initiatives. The Umbrella Final Agreement, signed in 1993 by the Council of Yukon First Nations and Governments of Canada and Yukon, set the foundation for the SGYFNs Final and Self Government Agreements. Each agreement specifies different rules that apply to land claims.
